Avid shoppers ourselves, We noticed that most home grown fashion companies had to make a hard choice between preserving heritage Indian arts or creating brands that are mass produced and commercial-led in nature. Slowly over the years, a fair share of people have opted to build brands that are mass produced, inventory heavy and discount driven.
We boldly started Seven Sarees as we set out to bring Indian heritage sarees back into the mainstream, completely backed by technology. Our sarees are super modern, yet intensely respectful of traditions and the sentiment behind creating every saree. We believe, among the most direct ways we can limit ecological impacts, is to create products that last for generations or can be recycled so the materials in them remain in use. Making the best product matters for saving the planet. Our success ,and much of the fun, lies in developing new ways to do this.
