Chanderi Handlooms are a featherlight , easy to drape and highly versatile sarees , usually made of pure silk or a mix of silk and cotton. Almost a 1000 year weaving legacy, Chanderi sarees are traditionally woven with coin buttas, floral and leaf buttas and in some cases more modern interpretations of the same. These buttas are usually made all over the saree in zari  and make for a striking contrast against the light weight fabric base.
